Who is the course for?

This course is for students who have done Step 2 course with us or those who have done about 30 hours of classroom study. You might have also never studied Czech formally but know some basic phrases, vocabulary and grammar - the present tense of some verbs, family and restaurant vocabulary, etc. If you’re unsure if this is the right course for you, please take our quick Czech language placement test.

Our online Czech lessons are interactive, and Prem is a qualified and experienced teacher, who will help you learn. He has a lot of experience teaching beginner courses and he will make you communicate in Czech from the first lesson. The lessons take place via Zoom and focus on you and your engagement with the study materials. In every Czech lesson, you will be busy from the beginning to the end – speaking with your partner(s) in the breakout rooms, listening to and reading various texts, enriching your vocabulary through interactive activities, and discovering the rules of Czech grammar. The teacher will be sharing their screen, so it will feel like being in a normal classroom with a whiteboard – but you will not have to leave the comfort of your home!

To make this course an enjoyable and enriching experience, you'll need:

  • a reliable internet connection;

  • a computer or a tablet (smartphone screens are too small);

  • a working webcam, microphone, and ear/headphones;

The B1 Preliminary Preparation course is designed for anyone looking to take the Cambridge B1 Preliminary exam. This exam is a globally recognized certification of English language proficiency, and the course is ideal for those who want to improve their language skills and increase their chances of passing the exam.

Our online Italian lessons are interactive, and Maria is a qualified and experienced teacher, who will help you learn. She has a lot of experience of teaching beginner courses and she will make you communicate in Italian from the first lesson. The lessons take place via Zoom and focus on you and your engagement with the study materials. In every Italian lesson, you will be busy from the beginning to the end – speaking with your partner(s) in the breakout rooms, listening to and reading various texts, enriching your vocabulary through interactive activities, and discovering the rules of Italian grammar.
